​​​​           KOA Campground   ​​​​​ This is a great place to stop.  The owner's run the place and recently remade the entire park over, making it all fresh and new.  There's lots of shade there, and it is located very close to many things to do.  Fayetteville is only a 10 minute drive from there.

 

     Cherokee, North Carolina

​​​​           KOA Campground    This campground is very large and offers many fun activities for the whole family.  It is on the reservation there in Cherokee, NC, located in the Great Smoky Mountains and is on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

    This park has national park aesthetics, with County Park amenities. The 196-acre Park includes upland forests, rocky bluffs, rocky tide pools, sand beach, Salt Creek access, campsites, and panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Crescent Bay, and Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Salt Creek is a regional park that draws visitors from all areas of the northwest. Many colleges and schools from all over the U.S. visit the park to study and observe the marine life.  30A and 50A service and every spot has a 180 degree view of the Straits of Juan de Fuca.
